Sharing the below list of recommended maternity hospitals in Mumbai, along with details like the Doctor involved, type of delivery, charges, NICU availability and area. Hope they help is your Maternity journey! All of the below information was provided by the IPF Parents community. The list is in no particular order.

  • Hospital : Bhakti Vedanta Hospital, Mira road

    Type of delivery : Vaginal

    Charges : 35 k ( for 3 days, if baby doesn’t have any complication)

    Nicu: Available
  • Hospital- Le nest hospital, Malad west

    Type of delivery – Vaginal 

    Charges – 1.2 lakhs (5 days as baby was in NICU fr 2 days)

    Nicu- Yes
  • Hospital : Cloudnine Malad 

    Charges : 2.2L average for Dr. Meghana Sarvaiya for 72 hours admission in a private room (I was told this fluctuates a lot depending on the doctor)

    Area : Malad area 

    NICU availability : Yes
  • Hospital : Masrani Hospital for Women, Andheri West near Station

    Type of delivery : C section 

    Charges: 2L ( for 3 days)

    NICU availability : No
  • Hospital : Currae Birthing Hospital, Thane West

    Charges : C section – 1.30L in private room, Normal delivery – 1.15 in private room

  • Hospital: Womens Hospital Khar 

    Type of delivery: Under 3L for C Section, all inclusive for 3 days stay in individual room (not sharing)

    NICU availability- No, Has a tie up with Hinduja Khar.
  • Hospital- Holy Spirit hospital 

    Type – emergency C sec 

    Charges- 1.5L (including 1 day NICU cost), Spacious single private room (4 days)

    Area- Andheri 

    NICU: Available
  • Hospital:Advance multi speciality hospital, Irla- vile parle west 

    Type of Delivery- C section

    Charges- 1.5 L for 3 days
  • Hospital- Navjivan Hospital 

    Type of delivery- c-section 

    Charges- 75k for Sharing / 90k for Pvt

    Area- Borivali
